Mindfulness Meditation – 8 weeks program
The aim is to learn basic concepts about Mindfulness Meditation and gain meditative
experiences doing regular practice of Mindfulness Meditation.
The course provides an entry level to people who have little or no experience in Meditation. Brief, to the point concepts will be presented prior any meditation practice. However, the emphasis is on “experiencing meditation”. This is done through self-exploratory and guided meditation. The benefits of meditation are extensively listed in the literature as the practice can lead to improved physical and mental health.
The purpose of this course is to establish a mindful foundation in your everyday life. You may:

Feel emotionally calm
Be more mindful of your breathing

Be more present to self and others
Increase your focus and concentration
Feel stronger and more driven

Presenter: Achim holds a postgraduate diploma in “Applied Buddhist Studies” which he obtained from the NANTIEN Institute Wollongong. He has been interested in Meditation and has participated in meditation retreats since the mid – nineties. Achim holds University Degrees in Science and Arts. He works as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in private practice Satori Self Development since 2003 and applies meditative practices as part of the therapeutic process.
